“Change brings opportunity” -- N Qubein

Kris

Personality:
I like working with people, listening to what keeps them busy, and trying to understand their challenges. People say that I am good at providing pragmatic advice as well as real solutions, thanks to my helicopter view and my understanding of both IT and business.

I enjoy teaming up with partners and customers, and I am always eager to receive feedback on my advice and on the iterative projects I am involved in. I find exceeding expectations truly rewarding.

Experience:

I am a business generalist who strongly believes in the power of informatics as a facilitator. I started my career as a Business Consultant and Project Manager in several industries, implementing business solutions in the domains of sales, marketing and customer service. I had the opportunity to be a guest lecturer at Instima (Antwerp Management School & HUB) and at the Erik Van Vooren Institute.

The methodology of program management assignments convinced me to join an IT-driven, innovative supply chain company. Here, I was responsible for customer deployments and HQ operations, including the organisation and management of the customer service & finance teams and the operational excellence program, as well as being a key stakeholder for the IT roadmap.

In recent years, I have been focusing on the development of commercial activities, from business development to account management. By providing hands-on experience, I try to find the right balance between customer challenges and sustainable solutions, working together with driven and motivated co-workers.

Education:

Master in Commercial Sciences
Master in Business Information Systems
Certified Change Management
Certified Project Management

Interests:

Music was my first love, and although I am still an active musician in several bands, my family and the hobbies of our 3 kids are now taking up most of my attention. We enjoy sports, social activities, wining & dining and spending time in our garden.
