“I don't think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.” -- Abraham Lincoln

Personality:
My mother is known for laughing all day long, my father for working very hard. I kept my eyes open while growing up and now try to mix both qualities every single day. Luckily, I have been blessed with a good amount of energy and a healthy eagerness to learn. Once you get me engaged, you can count on me to go the extra mile in any project, and have fun while doing it!

Experience:

I started my career as a Management Trainee at ING — a great way to get acquainted with retail and online distribution, gain project management skills, and get a glimpse of expat life along the way.

Next, I took up a data-driven role as a Campaign Analyst in the marketing customer intelligence department. Here, I was involved in the launch of direct marketing campaigns, acquiring new customers and cross-selling existing ones. My job included delivering optimal target groups, and analysing and presenting the results of our campaigns on different levels: lead generation, sales, ROI and customer behaviour. In addition, I initiated a project aimed at optimising the direct marketing strategy.

In July 2010, I joined 4C where I focus on change management and offer support to the BI/CI team.

Education
:
Master in Management (2006)

Master in Communication Science (2005)

Interests:

I try to take ‘mens sana in corpore sano’ pretty literally: I’m slightly addicted to reading all kinds of stuff — from financial and popular newspapers and magazines over Twitter and Facebook feeds, to the latest books on business, economics and sociology. To stay in shape, I work out and play soccer. I love getting up for an early-morning running session.
In addition to all of that, I’m the Secretary of an amateur investment club and enjoy listening to the greatest voices of the past 100 years — Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash,… Why don’t they make ‘em like that anymore?!
